No login is required to view and download election data files.
Login accounts are required to upload files to the archive. See http://electiondefense.net [10] for directions on obtaining a login account.

To view a file on-line, just click the file's name
To download the file to your hard drive, right-click the filename and choose "Save As"

File formats used with the Data Analysis Site
 CSV

 CSV - Comma Seperated Values - Can be imported into other formats. like speadsheets and databases
 Document  DOC - Document File  Word processing programs like Microsoft Word should be able to open these files.
 EXE  EXE - Executable File (DOS/Windows only)
 Folder  Folder icon
 GIF  GIF - Graphic Interchange File (an image)
 HTM  HTM (html) HyperText Markup (can be display in a browser)
 MDB  Database File   You must look at the three letter
tag at the end of the file name to know which type of database. 

MBF = Microsoft Access Database File

DBF = Dbase
EML - E-mail
 XLS  XLS - Excel Spreadsheet File
 ZIP  ZIP - Archived File  Can be open with a archive program like WinZip®
 XML  XML - eXtensible Markup Language format
